I think it’s been a rough week. Or at least, for me, it has been a rough week. Watching a hero like Zelensky bullied by my country’s president, in the Oval office was devastating. Hearing that the people who were given asylum here when the war broke out in Ukraine might be sent back. Realizing that if they wanted to, they could turn off my phone through Starlinks and I would have no communication with my beloved daughter, who lives eight hours away. The sheer magnitude of it all. It was a rough week.
Then this came across my path.
This is my country. These are the majority of the people in my country. These are my people. This doesn’t happen in Russia, or China, or Hungary. This is my America. Our America. We are still here. Let’s not forget that.
So, do what you want. Bring it on. You will not win, as long as I have a breath inside me. It is not over.
And, I slept like a baby.
Another day, another chance to excel.
And more to celebrate:
The Lincoln Project posted this last night. 3/7. And, shout out to SBC, who has argued with me consistently about the benefits of calling congress and stating your concerns. …. Limiting Elon’s power? We’ll see. There are things ‘said’ for show and things that are actually in the making.
Every billion helps? I’m happy to strip his billions, one billion at a time.
